  Labour Councillor caught in massive votes Fraud
Somehow this case, which hit the court yesterday, has been deemed prosecutable by the police. This related to an Election in 2002 in which a Labour (now ex) Councillor was prosecuted and has now pleaded guilty to filling in 233 fraudulent postal votes (only 233 were proven, that does not mean that only 233 occurred).

This case was in Blackburn, Lancashire. The point I have repeatedly made about electoral fraud is that it happens all over the country.


"4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire" I always wondered about that particular line in the song "A day in the Life" by the Beatles. It pops into my mind everytime I hear the words Blackburn, Lancashire. At least Google has enabled me to confirm what I had guessed about the derivation of the phrase is true.

Similarly, Lennon read the obituary of Tara Brown, the heir to the Guiness fortune who died in a car crash, allegedy under the influence of LSD, in the Daily Mail. Hence the opening lines about the man who "blew his mind out in a car" So, in spite of what Ken says, the Daily Mail has done something of use in the last half century.

And if you want tories try Guildford. If you want Labour try: Birmingham, Pendle, Oldham, Coventry, Sandwell, Blackburn etc etc etc.

The problem is the law - for which the government (who control the agenda and have a majority in parliament) are responsible. The law needs to be changed.

I did as you say john. I typed Sandwell Vote Rigging into google... but all I could find was "tittle tattle". Perehaps you have some evidence?
